| Nusa Dua is on the east coast of Bukit Peninsula. It is a development area of upmarket hotels with security checks at the gates and private beaches and is a huge contrast from other parts of Bali; not a lot different to the Gold Coast but without the high rise. Quiet and in some ways sterile, but at least it is a cheap taxi ride to the more traditional areas of Bali, the market stalls and taxi touts. |
