| After our interesting stopover in Mt Morgan, we headed north and back to the coast at Sarina on our way to Calen just north of Mackay (Qld) to visit grandsons, Jake (15) and Kyle (14). Joy was driving when we reached Sarina and stopped for fuel and found that one of the trailer tyres was completely destroyed. After repairs we reached Calen and spent ANZAC day and overnight at the fruit farm with Anita and her lovely family. Then on to the very touristy Airlie Beach/Shute Harbour for about 5 days. We caught enough fish for a feed but the weather wasn't suitable for us to visit the Whitsunday islands - maybe next time |
