One display was on the British ship the Pandora shipwrecked on the Great Barrier Reef up near Cape York in 1791. The Pandora was sent to pick up the mutineers of the ship the Bounty (run by Captain Bligh), and bring them back to Britain to face their punishment. Twice a day a demonstration is given on firing of a replica six-pounder cannon, the type which was used on the Pandora.
