Montpellier - the town wasn't mentioned in our travel guides, but very interesting and compact. 

Arles; another surprise where the Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre are semi restored to a condition where events can again be held. 

Then on to Provence, Marseille and some of the dangerously narrow winding roads in the Provence mountain areas.
